Shane Smith is a seasoned Certified Public Accountant with more than 20 years of experience in tax preparation, financial leadership, and public-sector accounting. His career spans both private industry and government, giving him a well-rounded perspective on how financial decisions affect organizations at every level.

In addition to two decades of tax practice, Shane has served as a Chief Financial Officer and Director of Finance for a wide range of organizations, including for-profit businesses, nonprofit entities, and Kentucky school districts. In these roles, he has overseen budgeting, financial reporting, audits, compliance, and long-term financial planning—helping organizations remain financially strong while meeting complex regulatory and operational demands.

Shane’s career includes Deloitte, one of the world’s leading accounting and consulting firms, where he gained deep experience in audit and financial analysis. He also worked with the Kentucky Auditor of Public Accounts, providing him with firsthand insight into government accounting standards, transparency requirements, and audit processes.

This combination of public accounting, government oversight, and hands-on financial leadership allows Shane to offer clients practical, strategic, and compliant financial guidance. Amy M. Smith, CPA

Amy M. Smith is an experienced Certified Public Accountant with a career spanning nearly three decades in tax preparation and public-sector financial leadership. She earned her CPA license in 1996 and has been preparing individual and business tax returns since 1995, helping clients navigate complex tax requirements with accuracy, confidence, and care.

For more than 28 years, Amy has served as a Director of Finance and Chief Financial Officer for multiple Kentucky school districts. In these roles, she has overseen budgeting, financial reporting, compliance, and long-range financial planning, ensuring fiscal stability while meeting strict regulatory and public accountability standards.

Throughout her career, Amy has worked closely with independent auditors, providing documentation, responding to audit inquiries, and helping guide districts through annual financial and compliance reviews. This hands-on collaboration has given her deep insight into audit expectations, internal controls, and financial transparency.
